Sports Club

The Sports club is committed to provide a healthy sporting habit among the students. We at BBIS work towards enabling every student to explore and enjoy the thrill of sports through various events. It helps to learn teamwork at work, coordination among diverse cultural & ethnic groups and mainly infuses discipline & instils the value system in one individual. The Sports Club will also look to explore the various alternate sports that are on the rise (e-sports, hiking etc) and encourage students to explore emerging fitness trends.

Disaster Club

Disaster management has recently increased in importance because of the growing awareness of costs associated with disasters, both natural and man- made. Knowing and meeting the profession's objectives helps reduce these costs and improve first responder effort. The young minds are most receptive to new ideas and need to be trained and made aware of certain basic principles that would not only save their lives but also being future citizens, they play an important role towards nation building. Therefore, it is important to address disaster preparedness through fun activities in the school and promote the “culture of safety & preparedness” at a young age.

Cyber & DSLR Club

The goal and purpose of the club is to involve students who have an interest in digital photography and show an appreciation for what photography can say. All students are welcome to join - experience in photography is NOT a requirement - just a desire to learn with a hands-on approach. Club members will be learning from each other and will be photographing various school activities.

Creative Club

Focuses on the creativity gap and its importance. Provides actionable solutions which can be implemented in schools to achieve tangible result. At Creative Club we want to help make learning fun, interactive and hands-on, so everyone gets a chance to grow.Once the Creative Club is in place and has the right digital tools, you need to set goals you wish to achieve through the Creative Club. It is advisable to split your goals into two ways to achieve one with the help of daily challenges and another with weekly challenges.

Health & Wellness Club

We prepare and run almost all of the social events and health and wellbeing activities throughout the day. Students can talk to our mentors for support and guidance and look up to them as excellent role models. Health is condition (mental and physical) in which the individual is functionally well adjusted internally with respect to body parts and externally with his environment. Wellbeing for life is feeling comfortable, healthy and happy. This is not only physically but mentally too. There are many activities that you can do to improve and maintain your physical and mental wellbeing. Health and Wellness Clubs influences the habits’, attitude the knowledge relating to an individual and community. These clubs can modify our behaviour towards the attainment of optimum health. Physical Education caters to provide physical fitness which an important component of wellness.

Heritage Club

The idea of setting up Heritage Club in schools across the country began in 2002 to provide training and resources to teachers in urban and rural areas. It was done with the motive of creating awareness and participation in heritage related activities among the students. Every student who becomes a member of heritage club is motivated to participate in heritage conservation and to learn more about their local and natural heritage. The club has organized events ranging from Conducting quiz related to science and technology, Poster making, Essay writing on different personalities like Abdul Kalam, Mother Theresa, Rani Laxmi bai to enable the students to remain well-informed on the various personalities and realize the work done by them.“It’s not the honour we take with but the heritage we leave behind”.

ECO Club

Eco Clubs play an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation. Eco club in our school helps the students in building attitudes to acquire a set of values and feelings of concern for the environment, and the motivation for actively participating in environmental improvement and protection.The members of the club guide the students in keeping their surroundings clean and green. Use of polythene bags has almost been stopped. The students and all staff members practice the minimum usage of electricity. Wastage of water is prohibited. Clean and green environment is the need of the hour. To sustain humanity on our planet, we need to build responsible communities that recognise the importance of conserving energy and environment.This activity raised awareness among students to save environment by practicing different activities like planting trees, following the three R’s; reduce, reuse, and recycle. Cultural Club Education aims at helping the students to understand and accept themselves ‘as they are’ and helps the students to help themselves. The main objective of the club is to bring about a voluntary change in the students. For this purpose, the teachers and management provide facilities to achieve the desired changes or to make the suitable choices. Participation in cultural activities results in enhancement of the personal skills and experiences like confidence; self-presentation; teamwork and collaboration; time management and organizational skills; self- awareness; self-discipline; open mindedness to move beyond boundaries and experiment with different ideas; communication skills; the ability to cope with criticism and learn from them resulting in a whole new developed, changed and an improved person.

Srinivasa Ramanujan (22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920), a genius mathematician, made extraordinary contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and fractions.Maths clubs are dedicated extra-curricular maths get togethers that breathe new life into maths beyond the classroom.

They come in all shapes and sizes and there is no one model that works for every school. However, they all focus on two things: having fun with maths and learning.
